When the Great North Pack is on the verge of falling apart, Pack wolf Elijah Sorensson wants to give up on his successful life in the human world to return home. But the Alpha says no—Elijah must continue to play his role to protect the Pack from those who want to destroy it.
Knowing he needs strength by his side, he seeks out human Thea Villalobos, a woman he's admired from the moment he met her. He hopes she can help him break through his human shell before the ailing wolf inside him dies, and before the Pack is betrayed again. But can Thea accept who and what Elijah really is?

WOW! I mean this book is amazing. I love Mrs. Vale and her writing style is just wonderful! I love reading her books because she has a way of bringing all her readers into the book as if they were actual characters in the book. There is adventure, romance, the longing to be home, and just the right amount of challenges. There is nothing to be missed in this book.
Elijah has been living off land for nearly thirty years, working as a lawyer in a firm where the Great North LLC has been a client. The Great North or home as Elijah refers to it. There is one thing that Elijah has been longing for which is to go back home. However, the job that Elijah has is very powerful for the pack, which is something that they can’t lose, but can keeping up appearances of being human keep Elijah from going crazy?
There is nothing to keep him off land other than the order of the alpha. So, the only thing that can be done is to challenge for a chance to become Alpha and finally come home. However, nothing ever goes as planned when emotions run high. Can Elijah defeat the current alpha and earn a chance to come home? Or will someone else beat him to it and make him stay off land?
Come enjoy the book, and the adventure of A Wolf Apart.
