Is there a Lady in the land that can resist this scoundrel’s charms…?
At her step-mother’s command, Isabelle – and her irrepressible step-sister Lily – are leaving the pleasantries of the English countryside behind them, and heading straight to the bustling heart of a London season. Isabelle couldn’t care less about fashionable society, and is even less interested in the name on the lips of every ballroom gossip - Lord Constantine Highborough, reputedly a scoundrel of the highest order! But once he sets eyes on the stunningly beautiful Isabelle, London’s most notorious rake knows exactly where to direct his devilishly bewitching smile.
And everybody knows that Constantine always gets what he wants, usually leaving a trail of broken hearts behind him…
Regency Rogues and Romance – Anabelle Bryant
Thanks so much for inviting me here to talk a little about my Regency Rogues historical romances.
The Regency Rogues trilogy is my first published romance series and is by far the most traditional to the Regency era. The novels are filled with emotion, angst and some very steamy love scenes, and keeping to the legendary structure of England’s history, the stories firmly place the reader within the Regency time period.
To Love A Wicked Scoundrel – Constantine and Isabelle’s story is one of pursuit and denial. It’s a story of my heart where a wickedly handsome rogue with an outrageous reputation falls hard for the most unlikely woman. There’s a bit of humor and a touch of tragedy too, along with an endearing child (the heroine’s niece). If you’d like to view the book trailer and feel the mood of the story, you can find it: Here
Duke of Darkness – Devlin and Lexi’s story is about forbidden love. Assigned to the task of guardian, it’s unseemly for a Duke to fall in love with his ward – but it happens and the attraction is beyond the control of either one of them. This is the first manuscript I completed and loaded with high level of emotion. Devlin will always be the hero of my heart and Lexi is admirably romantic and independent. You can watch the Duke of Darkness trailer: Here
The Midnight Rake – Phineas and Penelope are the last couple in the Regency Rogues series. Phineas plays a pivotal role in the two preceding books and finally has his own chance at true love except – Phineas is dead set against marriage. He doesn’t want a wife and prefers his bachelorhood above all things…until he meets Penelope. She finds her way into his reluctant heart. Here’s the trailer for book 3: Here
I hope you’ll take a look at the Regency Rogues series. The novels have all been well received and the reviews speak for themselves. Thanks so much for stopping by.
