Has Keira made the worst mistake of her life?
Unemployed Keira Callahan decides to try her luck at the casino before delving back into job hunting. As she walks through the casino, she bumps into the most handsome man she’s ever seen. When he asks her to dinner, she doesn’t hesitate. As she learns Cade Tyndale’s story—he needs to wed or lose his British estate, her impulsive nature rears up and she agrees to marry him and move to England for one year. What does she have to lose except her heart to the impossibly handsome Earl of Barrett?
Cade put his glass down on the side table and pulled her into his arms. “Please don’t be alarmed. He will not succeed,” he said.
Being in his arms felt so right. Keira sighed. “I just hate the thought of Edward being so nasty to you.”
Cade lifted her chin. “That’s very sweet of you,” he said, brushing his lips against hers.
His lips were soft and inviting. Desire scorched through her, leaving her breathless. She let him take the glass from her and stepped closer to him, pressing her body to his. Her curves fit perfectly against his solid muscles.
His hand caressed her cheek, and she moaned with pleasure. “Have I told you lately how beautiful you are?” he whispered.
Keira’s lips parted, and Cade deepened their kiss, setting her heart on fire. This wasn’t part of their deal, although there was nothing in the contract that said they needed to avoid all physical contact. This was what she wanted. This and much, much more. Her body was on fire, and she longed to know what it would be like to lie next to him. To have his hand trail up her body. To feel him fill her completely.
As if reading her mind, Cade abruptly broke contact and stepped back. “I’ve overstepped the boundaries of our agreement. Please excuse me,” he said, stalking from the room.
Keira stood speechless, staring at his retreating back. She missed the warmth of his body, and without it, she felt adrift. One minute, he was kissing her senseless, and the next, he was gone. What had just happened?

Marketing specialist Kiera Callahan found herself unemployed. Ditching her expensive apartment, she stored her belongings and left for Vegas to spend some time with her sister’s family. She had a lot to consider. What to do next with her life? Where to live? It was time for her to make a bold decision. Where better to consider her options and blow off some steam than the Bellagio?
Cade Tyndale, Earl of Barrett, was facing the biggest predicament of his life. After his father’s death, Cade had inherited the title and the family estate. Unfortunately, his father had left a stipulation in his will. If Cade hadn’t been married for one year by his 30th birthday, the estate would go to Cade’s younger brother Edward, a spendthrift with no concern for his ancestral home. As Cade’s 29th birthday was only five days away, it appeared Edward would soon have the control he desired. Cade needed to get away from his worries. Where better to escape it all than the Bellagio?
When Kiera won big at the slot machines, it appeared it was her lucky night. And when she literally ran into a gorgeous man with a sexy British accent, she was certain Lady Luck was smiling on her. Cade felt pretty lucky too. He was quite taken with the sexy, sweet American. Kiera fascinated him. And he fascinated Kiera as well. Cade was so charming, witty, and attentive. They dined together and quickly fell into easy conversation. Kiera shared her job woes and Cade told her about his father’s will. He was so handsome and seemed so vulnerable that Kiera found herself offering to marry him. Why not? She was unemployed, had no home, and had always wanted to see England. It was just for a year. What could possibly go wrong?
What could go wrong? Well, aside from
• a vengeful brother who’d like nothing better than to end the marriage,
• adjusting to a lifestyle she couldn’t even begin to fathom,
• trying to keep the marriage a business arrangement when all she wanted to do was throw herself into Cade’s arms
Aside from all that, it should be easy.
The Accidental Wedding was a cute story with a clever plot. Kiera and Cade were likeable, genuine people. They were perfectly suited for one another. The only problem was that darn agreement. When they agreed to keep the arrangement strictly business, neither considered the idea that they would want more. How could veritable strangers affect each other so profoundly? Through their months together collaborating on castle events, attending functions together, and spending so much time in each other’s company, they discovered a lot about each other. And they liked what they discovered. Their feelings for each other were growing deeper. The more time they spent together, the more they wanted each other. But Kiera was afraid that Cade only saw their relationship as temporary. And Cade was afraid pursuing more would make Kiera feel pressured. Still, each time they touched, their agreement to keep it strictly business crumbled a little bit more. I enjoyed watching Cade and Kiera’s relationship slowly evolve after their marriage. From strangers to friends to partners to lovers. If you’re looking for a story that has a sexy, fun feel to it and a sweet, happy ending, this one will more than fit the bill.
